HOUSE PIG, GYM RAT

By my standards, I am becoming a gym rat.  I just spent 2.5 hours at the gym today.   I attended 2 classes — cardio salsa and yoga.  If the sauna would’ve been open, I would’ve stayed longer.  When I first started going to the gym, my maximum  workout time is 1 hour.  But I just recently discovered this cardio salsa class in my gym and it got me hooked.  It is so much fun!     After the class, I also found out that a yoga class comes after it and so I stayed.  It was also great.    An hour of strenuous workout followed by another hour of stretching and relaxation is such a good routine.  Going into the sauna would have culminated the entire routine, but it was closed.  Albeit, I am not complaining.

I was just glad that I got the chance to attend those classes ’cause I’ve been eating like a pig lately.  Somehow, this cold weather has propelled me to stuff just about anything into my mouth.  Worst thing, the food that I’m eating are not healthy.  Talk about chicharon (pork cracklings),  strawberry cream pie, pork adobo, pork sisig (small pieces of pork face and pork brain sauteed with spices) and lots of rice. I am not only eating like a pig, I am eating pig!  My diet has made me so guilty that I feel like I have to compensate it with exercise.

With that I realized that:  "When I am a house pig, I become a gym rat."
