Salu-salo Restaurant
Last Saturday, as my friends and I were searching for a decent place to eat, we came across an ad in a Philippine newspaper about this new restaurant in Glendale called Salu-salo. Our curiosity drove us to try out the place and see whether it will be able to meet our expectations.
True enough it did. Not only was the food superb, but the ambiance and service were impeccable as well. The food was pretty much affordable too. The only downside for me were the restrooms. Not that it was unclean or anything. It was immaculate, but I felt that the interiors didn’t match the theme of the restaurant. In a scale of 5 spoons, I give 4 spoons for food, ambiance and price; 3.5 spoons for service; and 3 spoons for the restrooms.
Salu-salo is on Wilson and Maryland Street in Glendale. This is the first Filipino restaurant in California that I am really proud of. Perhaps you should try it and see for yourself.

That resto has good feedback even here in Dallas. Always on the list of my friends’ Filipino restaurants to visit while in LA

We waited 40mins to be seated. 40 mins to get the food served & 30mins for the check. Food is ok but not worth the wait. They need to evaluate their system.
